Goals

March 17th-24th
Alright, here they are. The new goals for next week. This week because it is Easter I'm going to be a little nice.

#1. We are going to do the water goal again. However, you need to drink half your body weight BEFORE we started the competition. For most of you that only means an extra glass of water a day (Mindy, you are excluded from that rule if you want).

#2. Exercise this week for 4 hours. While exercising this week 2 hours needs to include weights. That doesn't mean you need to do heavy lifting but at least some weight bearing exercise. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn!

Okay Kelsey, I have decided to change my attitude and I will try to do these goals rather than giving up on myself!
I think I should get an exception to the weights rule though. I can't imagine adding ANY weight to ANYTHING!!!! LOL!! So is it cool if I just do cardio? It's been a week since I've worked out so a stroll down the street could do me in at this point...

Yes alyson I think that you are an exception to the weight rule. I think that walking with a 15 pound belly counts.

I tell you what, I am saved to finally get my goals back! I swear I've gained 2 pant sizes in the 2 weeks we had off! Shane I would've attempted to follow whatever you said to the end, I just want you to know that...
I love this blogging business though, so I'm glad that we didn't just give it up. I'm sad to say this is the majority of my social life on the days I don't work. So keep it up!!
I am with Natalie on the whole competition thing. How can we work that? Should we have everyone post their goal as far as their desired weight loss, inches or whatever and whoever hits it first and keeps it off for 2 months is the winner? It seems unfair if you want to lose more than others, but for the major fluctuators such as myself it would be very challenging to keep it off for that long. It may require measuring and weighing at the same time every day. Just an idea. I'm sure there's a better one out there, come on peck family... think.... Or has that ship sailed?

Good luck everyone on the goals. I will be lucky to find good water the next two days and I will get in 4 hours a day of walking, but probably not any weights. I like Ginger have gained back some weight, so when I get back from Israel I will be back on the goals. FYI - one good thing that has happened to me since we started this competition is that I continue to drink more water, and I have not had any carbination or calories or caffiene since Jan 2. Can anyone else say the same thing, besides my family?

I'll tease you since Ranae hasn't...You haven't had any calories since Jan 2nd? How have you survived ;)
